Protect Yourself from Identity Theft
Identity theft is currently the fastest growing crime in the United States, costing Americans over $50 billion in fraudulent charges and affecting some 8 million people annually. What’s worse is that college students (you!!) are one of the fastest growing groups of people getting their identity stollen.
To talk to one of NMSU’s Red to Green Financial Literacy Coaches on ways to avoid identity theft and/or what to do if it does happen to you, please contact the Student Success Center-Hardman at (575) 646-3137 for a free one-on-one session.
