New Student Registration is Now Open

housing_09_072312New Student Registration (NSR) is now open for new incoming students!
New Aggies can sign up to attend an NSR event in April, May, June or August.

Step 1: You will need your Aggie ID# (9 digit id# beginning with ’8′)

Step 2: Register for NSR

Step 3: Wait for a confirmation email from University Admissions, this will confirm the date for which you have registered and the details you need to know about that day. Make sure to provide the correct email when you register for NSR.

NSRs will consist of 2 days: Day 1 is Orientation and Day 2 is Advising and Registration

*A 1 day program will be available in April

NMSU restaurants change hours

The Player's GrillThe Player’s Grill restaurant located in the NMSU Golf Course Club House is now open from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday-Sunday. Menu items conclude each night at 6 p.m. with snacks and beverages available from 6-8 p.m. The NMSU Golf Course Club House is located at 3000 Herb Wimberly Dr. in Las Cruces and is open to the public serving both golfers and non-golfers.

TCBY/Coffee Haus in Frenger Food Court is now open from 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday-Friday with no Saturday hours. Frenger Food Court is also open to the public and is located on McFie Circle between Williams & Breland next to Zuhl Library.

Both The Player’s Grill and Panda Express at NMSU will open on July 4 for your convenience. All other campus restaurants will be closed. Please visit the all new NMSU Dining site at Dining.NMSU.edu for all campus restaurant hours, locations, Meal Plan info, and more.

1st Annual Health and Wellness Expo

On Friday, May 3rd from 8:00 am- 3:00 pm will be the First Annual Health and Wellness Expo at the NMSU Activity Center (back gym). Come enjoy free health screenings that include blood pressure, skin cancer, depression, body composition and glucose among many other services. Many door prizes and giveaways will be available. Event is open to the NMSU Community. Promote health and wellness at NMSU by attending!

Free Flash Mob Zumba at 12 (noon). All participants will receive a free gift.

NMSU INSIDER events calendar changeover notice

NMSUinsiderMosaicCrimson2ToneLast week, Microsoft altered some features of its Outlook calendar which has impacted the NMSU INSIDER events calendar through Auxiliary Services. The Web-based version is no longer available. Also, if you subscribed to the calendar, you may be receiving a subscription notice every time you open Outlook. We apologize for the inconvenience. In order to avoid any future notices, please delete the calendar from Outlook. This can be done by opening the NMSU INSIDER calendar and then right clicking the NMSU calendar name on the tab at the top. BE SURE TO SELECT THE CORRECT CALENDAR. Choose “Delete,” and the issue should be resolved. You should only need to do this once on Outlook 2003, but Outlook 2010 may require a repeat of the process. A brand new calendar has been created in its place and is also viewable on a mobile device without the need for a password. It is also accessible in the “Links” section of the NMSU INSIDER free mobile app, which is available in the Apple App Store for iPhone & iPad and Google Play for Android.
