The beginning of a new Fall semester is only days away and we are excited to have new and returning Aggies join us for some fun and engaging activities! It all kicks off on Sunday, August 19th which is move-in day for new and returning students. At 5pm, all students and their families are invited to join us for the Aggie BBQ and a performance by hypnotist, Jim Wand. Many other events will be taking place throughout Aggie Welcome & Orientation including New Student Convocation, Playfair, Aggiefest, author and activist, Liz Securro will be speaking, and much more! In addition to these events, all of the NMSU Academic Colleges will be having their own Welcome & Reception activities on Wednesday, August 22nd. Ask Me! Where’s My Class booths will be available across campus to help students find their way to class and to provide other valuable information on the first two days of the new semester.
Aggie Welcome & Orientation sponsors, organize these events to assist new students in transitioning into university life and to provide all students with information on the resources that are available on campus. We invite all Aggies to join us at each of the events!
